Will Mortenson is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives for the 24th district since 2021. An enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, he previously worked as a policy analyst in the office of Governor Dennis Daugaard. In 2022, he was elected by his colleagues to serve as the House Majority Leader, becoming the youngest Republican to hold the position in state history and the first tribal member to lead a majority caucus in the legislature. He is noted for his role in filing the articles of impeachment against former Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg.
