Wimar Bolhuis is a Dutch politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives since 2026. Before entering national politics, he held various leadership and academic roles, including serving as the director of the health and work unit at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) from 2025 to 2026. He also worked as a lecturer in economics at Leiden University between 2019 and 2025 and served as the chief economist for the Dutch branch of Ecorys from 2021 to 2022.
