Windy Plaatjies

Windy Timotheus David Plaatjies is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly. A member of the African National Congress, he previously held the position of regional secretary for the party's Central Karoo region and was serving as the regional chairperson by early 2025. He was elected to the National Assembly in the 2024 general election, having been ranked second on the ANC's Western Cape regional list. Following his election, he was appointed to serve on the Joint Standing Committee on Defence.
