Wojciech Bakun

Wojciech Bakun is a Polish politician and local government official currently serving as the Mayor of Przemyśl. Before his election as mayor in 2018, he served as a member of the Sejm during the 8th term, representing the Kukiz'15 movement. A former entrepreneur and database administrator, Bakun has been recognized for his leadership in organizing humanitarian aid for Ukrainian refugees during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, receiving international honors such as the Shield of Saint Martin. He was successfully re-elected as mayor in 2024 as an independent candidate.
