Xavier Nava Palacios

Xavier Nava Palacios is a Mexican politician and international relations specialist who served as the Municipal President of San Luis Potosí from 2018 to 2020. A grandson of the prominent social leader Salvador Nava Martínez, he previously served as a federal deputy in the Congress of the Union from 2015 to 2018. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with various political organizations, including the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), the National Action Party (PAN), and the National Regeneration Movement (Morena). In 2024, he was disqualified from holding public office for 18 years by the state congress due to findings of corruption and administrative irregularities during his tenure as mayor.
