Yaşar Yıldırım is a Turkish politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. A graduate of Ankara University's Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, he began his political career as the head of the Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları) in 1980. He was a founding member of the Great Unity Party in 1993 and served as the Mayor of Kızılcahamam from 1994 to 1999. Since returning to the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) in 1998, he has held several leadership roles, including Ankara Provincial Chair and his current position as Deputy Chairman responsible for relations with professional and civil society organizations.
