Yashpal Arya

Yashpal Arya is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly and the Leader of the Opposition in the assembly. A veteran legislator, he has served as a seven-time MLA across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Over his long career, he has held numerous prominent positions, including Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, President of the Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee, and Cabinet Minister for Transportation and Social Welfare under multiple administrations across both the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
