Yaw Osei Adutwum is a Ghanaian politician and educator currently serving as the Minister of Education and as a Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe Constituency. An advocate for STEM education, he has spearheaded initiatives to construct numerous specialized high schools and universities across Ghana. Before entering national politics, he founded the New Designs Charter Schools in California and worked as a mathematics teacher. He holds a PhD in Educational Policy, Planning and Administration from the University of Southern California.
