Yaz Mubarakai is an Indian-born Australian politician serving as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly. Born in India in 1975, he moved to Australia in 1997 and is a member of the Parsi community. He first entered state parliament in 2017 representing the electorate of Jandakot, and following the 2025 state election, he became the inaugural member for the newly created electorate of Oakford. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served on the Cockburn City Council and worked as a business owner, operating a post office and restaurants in the Cockburn area.
