Young-dae Shin is a South Korean politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly. Born in Gunsan, he was active in the student movement during his time at Chonbuk National University, where he served as student body president. His career includes working as a parliamentary aide, an administrator in the Office of the President during the Roh Moo-hyun administration, and a policy secretary for the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
