Брагар, Евгений Вадимович

Yevhenii Bragar is a Ukrainian politician and historian serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine in the IX convocation. A graduate of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, he previously worked as an educator and founder of the 'Linguist' project. Bragar serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech and leads parliamentary groups for inter-parliamentary relations with Algeria and Vietnam. His political career has been marked by several controversies, including comments regarding utility payments and his stance on the Ukrainian language law, which he has criticized as discriminatory.
