Žygimantas Vaičiūnas

Žygimantas Vaičiūnas is a Lithuanian politician who served as the Minister of Energy of Lithuania on two separate occasions. He first held the position in the cabinet of Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis from December 2016 to December 2020. He later served a second term as Minister of Energy from December 2024 to August 2025. During his tenure, he was a prominent advocate for the resilience of critical energy infrastructure and emphasized the leadership of the Baltic states in achieving energy independence within the European Union.
