Yoko Takashima is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Nagano Prefectural Assembly, representing the Nagano City and Kamiminochi District constituency. First elected in 2007, she has served four terms in the assembly. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Chair of the Nagano Prefectural Assembly and chair of the Prefectural People's Culture, Health, and Welfare Committee. Before entering politics, she worked as a journalist for the Shinano Mainichi Shimbun and the Minami Shinshu Shimbun. She is also active in local sports and welfare organizations, including serving as an advisor to the Nagano Prefecture Foster Parents Association.
