Yong-sun Lee is a South Korean politician currently serving as a two-term member of the National Assembly for the Yangcheon-gu Eul constituency in Seoul. Before entering formal politics, he was a prominent activist in the labor and civil society movements, serving in leadership roles for organizations such as the Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice and the Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation. He previously served as the Senior Secretary to the President for Civil Society under the Moon Jae-in administration. As a legislator, Lee has focused on foreign affairs, unification, and industrial policy, advocating for the rights of vulnerable groups and addressing regional issues such as airport noise pollution.
