Yoo Yong-won is a South Korean politician and former journalist who currently serves as a member of the 22nd National Assembly. Before entering politics, he was widely recognized as South Korea's first dedicated military affairs reporter, having spent over 20 years covering the Ministry of National Defense for the Chosun Ilbo. He is also the founder of 'Yoo Yong-won's Military World,' one of the country's largest online military information platforms. Since his election in 2024 as a proportional representative for the People Power Party, he has focused his legislative work on national defense, foreign affairs, and security policy.
