Yoshie Sugimoto is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing the Chuo-ku district of Hamamatsu City. Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, she moved to Hamamatsu in 1996 and became involved in local community and PTA activities. She was first elected to the prefectural assembly in 2019. Her policy focus includes child-rearing support, welfare enhancement, disaster prevention, and the revitalization of local urban areas. She previously served as a public secretary to the President of the House of Councillors, Chikage Ogi.
