笠原 義宗

Yoshimune Kasahara is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the Niigata Prefectural Assembly, representing the Minami Ward of Niigata City. First elected in a 2012 by-election, he is currently serving his fourth term. He has held the position of Vice-Chairman of the Niigata Prefectural Assembly and is active in the Liberal Democratic Party's prefectural federation. Before entering politics, he worked as the representative director of Kasahara Ironworks and was involved in local commerce and youth organizations.
