Seo Young-seok is a South Korean politician and pharmacist currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly. Born in Gwangyang, he graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in pharmacy and became active in local politics in Bucheon, serving as a city council member for three terms and later as a member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in public health advocacy and social movements, including the promotion of drug distribution reforms. A member of the Democratic Party of Korea, he was first elected to the National Assembly in 2020 and successfully secured re-election in 2024. He continues to focus on health and welfare policy through his work in the National Assembly's Health and Welfare Committee.
