Yunus Emre is a Turkish politician and academic currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. An expert in political science and international relations, he previously held leadership roles within the Republican People's Party (CHP), including serving as the head of the CHP Youth Branches and as a Deputy Chairman responsible for youth policies. Emre holds a doctorate from Boğaziçi University's Atatürk Institute and has authored numerous books and articles focusing on CHP history, social democracy, and the transition to a strengthened parliamentary system in Turkey. He is also an active member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
