岡村ゆり子

Yuriko Okamura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the 27th Mayor of Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture. Born in 1981, she is the daughter of the late former mayor Koshiro Okamura. After working at a television station and assisting in her father's office, she entered politics, serving one term on the Kawaguchi City Council and two terms in the Saitama Prefectural Assembly. In 2026, she was elected as the first female mayor of Kawaguchi, succeeding her father in the role. Her political platform has notably addressed local governance and immigration issues.
