Yusuf Pathan is an Indian politician and former professional cricketer who currently serves as a Member of Parliament for the Baharampur Lok Sabha constituency in West Bengal. Before entering politics, he enjoyed a distinguished career as an all-rounder, representing India in international cricket and contributing to the team's victories in the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Since retiring from all forms of cricket in 2021, he transitioned into public service and was elected to the 18th Lok Sabha in 2024 as a candidate for the Trinamool Congress.
