Yves Lévesque

Yves Lévesque is a Canadian politician who has served as the Mayor of Shawinigan since 2025. Previously, he had a long tenure as the Mayor of Trois-Rivières from 2001 to 2018, following his initial start in municipal politics as a city councillor in Trois-Rivières-Ouest. In addition to his municipal career, Lévesque has been active in federal politics, running as a candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada in the 2019 and 2021 federal elections. He is known for his focus on regional development and his support for the decentralization of power to the provinces.
