Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu

Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu is a Kurdish Turkish politician and lawyer who currently serves as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. He has led the Free Cause Party (HÜDA PAR) since 2021, having previously served as its leader from 2013 to 2018. A lawyer by profession, Yapıcıoğlu practiced law from 1990 to 2012 before entering politics. He is known for his conservative Islamic rhetoric, his opposition to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), and his critical stance toward the policies of the ruling Justice and Development Party regarding the Kurdish regions.
