Željko Komšić

Željko Komšić is a Bosnian politician serving as the Croat member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a position he has held for multiple terms starting from 2006 to 2014 and again from 2018 onward. Born in Sarajevo, he earned a law degree from the University of Sarajevo and served in the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Bosnian War, receiving the Order of the Golden Lily. He began his political career with the Social Democratic Party before co-founding the civic-oriented, center-left Democratic Front in 2013, focusing on anti-corruption and state reform.
