Abdi Omar Shurie is a Kenyan politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly for Balambala Constituency in Garissa County. He was first elected to the position in 2017 and successfully secured re-election in 2022. Representing the Jubilee Party, he has been an active participant in both the 12th and 13th Parliaments of Kenya. In 2024, he was honored by President William Ruto with the 1st Class Honours Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear for his public service.
