Abdourahmane Balde

Abdourahmane Balde is a Belgian politician representing the Marxist Workers' Party of Belgium (PVDA-PTB). Originally from Conakry, Guinea, he immigrated to Belgium and worked as a postal worker for bpost, where he became actively involved in trade union struggles. He entered local politics and has served on the municipal council of Schaerbeek since October 2024. In December 2024, he also assumed office as a member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, where he has participated in parliamentary committees including Internal Affairs and Equal Opportunities and Women's Rights.
