Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud is a Saudi royal and politician who has served as the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia since September 2019. As the first member of the Saudi royal family to hold this position, he has played a central role in managing the Kingdom's petroleum sector and international energy policy. Prior to his current appointment, he held various senior roles within the oil ministry, including assistant oil minister and state minister for energy affairs. He is an alumnus of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, where he also began his professional career as a lecturer and researcher.
