Abdullahi Idris Garba

Abdullahi Idris Garba is a Nigerian politician and one of the longest-serving members of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Kontagora, Wushishi, Mariga, and Mashegu Federal Constituency. Born in Niger State, he completed his primary and secondary education before studying at the University of Abuja and working as a businessman prior to his political career. First elected to the National Assembly in 2007, he has continually maintained his parliamentary seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress. Throughout his tenure, he has held numerous leadership positions within legislative committees, including serving as Chairman of the House Committee on Population, Chairman of the House Committee on the Federal Capital Territory, and later as Chairman of the House Committee on Aviation.
