Abena Osei Asare is a Ghanaian politician and chartered accountant currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Atiwa East constituency. A member of the New Patriotic Party, she previously served as a Deputy Minister of Finance from 2017 to 2025, where she played a key role in national budget preparation and labor negotiations. Before entering politics, she held positions at New York University and Barclays Bank Ghana. She is also the founder of The Waterbrook Foundation, an NGO dedicated to supporting underprivileged students.
