Abraham Hamadeh is an American politician and U.S. Army intelligence officer currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Arizona's 8th congressional district since 2025. Born to Syrian immigrant parents, he previously worked as a prosecutor in the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. A member of the Republican Party, Hamadeh has focused his political platform on border security, energy independence, and strong support for Israel. He is the first Arab American elected to Congress from Arizona.
