Abu Bakar Hamzah

Abu Bakar bin Hamzah is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Menteri Besar of Perlis since December 2025. A member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), he previously represented the Kuala Perlis constituency in the Perlis State Legislative Assembly starting in 2022 and served as a member of the Perlis State Executive Council. Known for his active role within the Perikatan Nasional coalition, he has held leadership positions including State Chairman of BERSATU in Perlis.
