Adal Singh Kansana

Adal Singh Kansana is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Sumawali constituency. He has held the position of Agriculture Minister in the Madhya Pradesh government. Throughout his career, Kansana has been elected to the assembly multiple times, initially representing the Bahujan Samaj Party in 1993 and 1998, and later the Indian National Congress in 2008 and 2018. During the 2020 Madhya Pradesh political crisis, he was among the legislators who resigned from the Congress party to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, subsequently winning re-election in 2023.
