Adama Diawara

Adama Diawara is an Ivorian academic and politician who has served as the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research since May 2020. A physicist by training, he previously held various roles in academia, including as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Félix-Houphouët-Boigny, and served as a technical advisor on education and research to the Presidency and the Prime Minister. A long-time member of the Rally of Republicans (RDR) and the RHDP coalition, he has been active in party politics since the early 2000s, focusing on education and scientific policy.
