Adrienne A. Jones is an American politician who has served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing the 10th district since 1997. A trailblazer in Maryland politics, she made history as the first African-American and the first woman to serve as Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates, a position she held from 2019 to 2025. Throughout her career, Jones has been a prominent advocate for social justice, the implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland's Future, and the codification of abortion rights into the state constitution.
