Aftyn Behn

Aftyn Behn is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 51st district since 2023. Before her election, she worked as a healthcare community organizer for the Tennessee Justice Center and was a prominent activist advocating for legislative reform and government transparency. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Behn has focused her legislative career on issues such as tax reform, workplace harassment policies, and civil rights. In 2025, she was the Democratic nominee for Tennessee's 7th congressional district special election.
