Tandy Darby

Tandy Darby is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 76th district, having assumed office on November 3, 2020. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in agricultural business, Darby has worked as a salesman for Akin & Porter Produce Inc. since 1997 and co-founded Greenfield Laser Industries in 2008. In February 2021, he was appointed as a deputy whip for the House. During his tenure, he has been involved in significant legislative actions, including his support for the 2023 resolution to expel three Democratic lawmakers from the legislature for violating decorum rules.
