Aghvan Vardanyan is an Armenian politician currently serving as a deputy in the National Assembly of Armenia as a member of the Armenia Alliance. Born in 1958, he began his career in journalism and literature, working for various publications and serving as a member of the Writers Union of Armenia. He has held significant political roles throughout his career, including serving as the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs from 2003 to 2008. A long-time member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, he was elected to parliament multiple times before returning to the National Assembly in 2021 as part of the Armenia Alliance coalition.
