Andranik Tevanyan is an Armenian politician and the leader of the Mother Armenia Alliance. Born in Yerevan, he holds degrees in construction economics and engineering management. Before entering politics, he worked as an advisor to the Minister of Economy, a television executive, and an academic lecturer. Tevanyan served as a member of the National Assembly of Armenia from 2021 to 2023, representing the Armenia Alliance. In 2023, he resigned his parliamentary seat to lead his newly founded Mother Armenia Alliance in the Yerevan City Council elections, where he successfully secured a seat. He is a vocal critic of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and has actively campaigned for his impeachment.
