Ahmad Tibi

Ahmad Tibi is a Palestinian-Israeli politician and physician who has served as a member of the Knesset since 1999. A graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, he previously worked as a gynecologist and served as a political advisor to Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat from 1993 to 1999. As the leader of the Ta'al party, Tibi is a prominent advocate for the rights of Arab citizens of Israel and supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He is recognized for his parliamentary work and has served as a Deputy Speaker of the Knesset.
