Ahmed Marcouch is a Moroccan-Dutch politician and former police officer who has served as the Mayor of Arnhem since 2017. Previously, he was a member of the House of Representatives from 2010 to 2017 and served as the chair of the Slotervaart borough government in Amsterdam. Throughout his career, Marcouch has focused on community development, public safety, and integration, often advocating for secular values and LGBTQ+ rights within diverse communities. He is a member of the Labour Party (PvdA).
