Aimen Horch is a Belgian politician who currently serves as a member of the Flemish Parliament and as the chairman of the political party Groen. Born in Oran, Algeria, he moved to Belgium as a refugee at the age of five and was raised in Vilvoorde. Horch began his political career in 2018 when he was elected to the Vilvoorde town council at age 22. In the 2024 Flemish Parliament elections, he was elected as the main candidate for the Flemish Brabant constituency. Since March 2026, he has led the Groen party alongside co-chairman Lien Arits, while also serving on parliamentary commissions focused on climate, energy, integration, and home affairs.
