Aine Murphy

Áine Murphy is a Northern Irish politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Fermanagh and South Tyrone. She was first co-opted to the Northern Ireland Assembly in July 2021 to succeed Sean Lynch and was subsequently re-elected in the 2022 Assembly election. Throughout her tenure, Murphy has prioritized local healthcare improvements in Lisnaskea and the development of the Ulster Canal project. Additionally, she has been an advocate for environmental policy, notably introducing a bill aimed at prohibiting fracking in Northern Ireland.
