山本 彰彦

Akihiko Yamamoto is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly representing the Aoi Ward of Shizuoka City. Born in 1964, he previously served six terms as a member of the Shizuoka City Council, where he held positions including city auditor and representative of the Komeito city council faction. Before entering politics, he worked at Star Micronics. He was first elected to the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly in April 2023. In his current role, he serves as the vice-chair of the Committee on Education and Police, focusing on regional policy, disaster prevention, and educational reform.
