Mitsuru Kiuchi is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing the Fujinomiya City constituency. Born and raised in Fujinomiya, he holds degrees in electrical and information engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Numazu College and the University of Tokyo. Before entering politics, he worked for six years at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Motivated by his son's successful treatment for a congenital heart condition at the Shizuoka Children's Hospital, he entered public service to advocate for improved medical, welfare, and educational infrastructure. He is committed to regional economic revitalization and supporting families through enhanced child-rearing environments.
