Daisuke Kajiwara is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Councillors in the National Diet. Born in 1973 in Konan, Kochi Prefecture, he graduated from the Kochi National College of Technology. Before entering national politics, he served four terms as a member of the Kochi Prefectural Assembly, where he was active in the Liberal Democratic Party. In 2022, he was elected to the House of Councillors via the proportional representation list. He currently serves as the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, a position he has held since October 2025 and was reappointed to in February 2026.
