Naotoshi Nishiyama is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Fukushima 1st District. Born in Fukushima City in 1965, he graduated from Hosei University before working at Kinoshita Komuten. He began his political career as a member of the Fukushima City Council in 1999 and subsequently served five terms in the Fukushima Prefectural Assembly, where he held leadership roles including Prefectural Assembly Chair and various positions within the Liberal Democratic Party's prefectural branch. In February 2026, he was elected to the national Diet for the first time after winning his district seat in the 51st House of Representatives general election.
