Kaori Goto is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing the Sawara Ward of Fukuoka City. After experiencing the challenges of balancing career and child-rearing as a working mother, she became an advocate for gender equality, childcare support, and improved working environments for parents. She founded the 'Mama to Seiji o Tsunagu Kai' (Association Connecting Mothers and Politics) and was first elected to the prefectural assembly in 2019. She is committed to creating a society where young people and women can thrive, focusing on policy areas such as child-rearing support and human resource development.
