和田政宗

Masamune Wada is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Sanseito party. A former NHK announcer, he transitioned into politics in 2013, initially serving two terms in the House of Councillors. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and Chair of the Committee on Cabinet in the House of Councillors. Known for his conservative political stances, Wada has advocated for constitutional reform, the strengthening of national defense, and the promotion of disaster prevention policies. He has been a vocal critic of certain bureaucratic practices and has emphasized the importance of national sovereignty and historical education.
