北村正平

Shohei Kitamura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Fujieda City in Shizuoka Prefecture. Born in 1946, he began his professional career at the Shizuoka Prefectural Government in 1969, where he held various positions including Director of the Agriculture and Fisheries Department before retiring in 2007. He was first elected as Mayor of Fujieda in 2008 and has since secured five consecutive terms, maintaining his office through both uncontested elections and competitive races.
