Alain Aoun

Alain Aoun is a Lebanese politician and telecommunications engineer who has served as a Member of the Lebanese Parliament for the Baabda constituency since 2009. A nephew of former President Michel Aoun, he was a long-standing member of the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) and served as Secretary of the Lebanese Parliament starting in 2018. His career includes significant work in the telecommunications sector with the Alcatel group in France and Lebanon. In 2024, he departed from the FPM following political disagreements with the party leadership regarding parliamentary alignments and presidential election strategies.
